People at all times have been interested in healthy eating. Books, healthy lifestyles and diets are becoming bestsellers. Magazines and social media are full of recommendations for healthy foods and eating habits. There is a great amount of information. We invite you to make your informed choice based on research, experimentation and observation. Be Aware – read about the amazing benefits of plant-based foods.
Colin Campbell, PhD, researcher and humanist, uses China Study to remove confusion and radically change the way people think about nutrition. Moreover, all his statements are supported by incontrovertible evidence.
What do the research results say? A healthy diet based on plant protein is invigorating, cures and prevents obesity, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, cancer, heart, vision, bone and kidney diseases.
We are going to present to your attention 5 studies and experiments of the advantages of plant food.
1. Plant-based diet against cancer.
The protein provided in cow’s milk is 87% casein. Indian researchers conducted an experiment on two groups of rats. Both groups were given the same amount of aflatoxin (a cancer-causing substance). In this case, the diet in one group of animals contained 20% protein. In the second group, the diet contained only 5% protein. Absolutely all animals in the first group got liver cancer, in the second, not a single rat got sick. What does this mean? Diet can neutralize the effects of even potent carcinogens and help reduce the risk of cancer. In addition, simple adjustment of the amount of animal proteins in the diet of rats let the scientists control the growth of an existing tumor. At the same time, as experiments show, an increase in plant proteins does not affect the course of the disease.
2. Plant food will protect against heart disease.
For 60 years, many scientists and doctors have been devoted to the study of heart disease.
Countries where people consume less saturated fat and animal protein and more vegetables, fruits and whole grains have a low incidence of heart disease. Their diet is based on plant foods, while the diet of Western countries is based on animals. Based on statistics, a logical conclusion follows – the use of animal food (meat, milk, eggs, fish) leads to an increase in the level of cholesterol in the blood, and on the contrary – plant food (legumes, light-colored vegetables, fruits, carrots, potatoes and some cereals) – to its decrease.
3. Plant foods prevent the development of diabetes.
Blood Sugar Support Supplement – 20 Herbs & Multivitamin for Blood Sugar Control with Alpha Lipoic Acid & Cinnamon – 120 PillsNearly 70 years ago, Harold Himsworth compared nutrition and diabetes incidence across countries. In some countries, the population ate mainly animal food (rich in fats), while in others – plant food (rich in carbohydrates). As carbohydrate intake rises and fat intake declines, the death rate from diabetes decreases dramatically. How to prevent diabetes mellitus? Eat plant-based foods.
4. A plant-based diet is a direct path to health and stamina.
World-class triathletes, athletes, tennis players, and marathon runners have discovered that eating low-fat food offers a significant advantage in achieving results. Scientists in the laboratory fed one experimental group of rats with food rich in animal protein, and another group with food of low protein level. Guess what happened to both groups of rats when they were given the opportunity to spin in the wheel? Those rats whose food contained a small amount of animal protein ran much longer and showed less fatigue than those whose food resembled the food of ours. The same effect has been observed with international athletes.
5. Plant-based diet – eat and lose weight.
The average calorie intake per lb of body weight for active Chinese is 30% higher than for the average American. Moreover, Chinese people’s weight is 20% lower. Why even active Chinese, eating more calories, do not have problems with being overweight? What is their secret?
There are two possible explanations for this paradox.
First, the Chinese are physically more active than the average American. In China, a bicycle is a very popular way of getting around for office workers. Therefore, of course, they spend more calories.
Secondly, 90% of the protein consumed in China is of plant origin.
The scientists fed the experimental animals a low-protein diet. They are constantly
consumed a little more calories, gained less weight, got rid of excess calories by turning them into heat, and voluntarily increased physical activity, while they were much less likely to develop cancer than those on a standard diet. Their calories were burned faster, transforming into heat to heat the body, as the amount of oxygen absorbed by them increased.
