What methods have humanity invented for this and how is the sex of the child determined?
Why do people want to know the gender of the expected baby?
Every family that is expecting a baby has a need to prepare the necessary diapers, creepers and undershirts for the birth. In the modern world there are many more “personal” things of the little one, who has just come into this world. Among them there is a crib, a stroller, a bath, and many-many more. Will they be pink with flowers or blue? It depends on the gender of the baby. Also, the sex of the child is important when there are genetically transmitted diseases in the family. For these purposes parents want to know the answer to their question: “Who will be born, a boy or a girl?”

1. An ancient Chinese table for sex determination.
There are several planning tables and finding out the gender of the future baby. The most popular today on the Internet is the so-called Chinese table, as it was approved by the Beijing Institute for Family Planning and received a guess accuracy of 98%. Chinese men, armed with it, try to order the sex of their babies.
How does this table work? Everything is elementary: the sex of the baby is calculated based on the age of the mother and the month of conceiving the baby. Find your age and the month of conception and you’ll predict your future baby’s sex.
Attention! It is worth knowing a small but very significant detail. The age of the mother on the Chinese calendar is 9 months older than in reality. This is very important because the Chinese believe that life begins immediately after conception. That is, all 9 months of gestation a person is already alive. So, it is necessary to indicate the number of full years of the woman at the time of birth of a child, not at the time of conception.
2. Japanese sex determination table.
The Japanese table for determining the sex of a child competes with the Chinese, because their civilization is no less developed and observant. It has been important for the Japanese since ancient times to have a son. In order to plan the sex of the child, the Japanese sages created a special table-calendar. It was based on knowledge of astrology and numerology.
The concept of the Japanese table is different. To use it, you need to know the months of birth of both parents and the exact month of conception of the baby.
This table is a little harder to use than the Chinese, because it consists of two parts: the first part determines the code number, which should be used in the second part.
Part 1
The code number is at the intersection of the months of birth of the biological mother and father of the child. In the vertical column on the left you need to find the month of birth of the mother and draw a line to the right of it horizontally to the cell, which is opposite the month of birth of the father. For example, if you and your husband were both born in December, the code number of your couple is 12.
Part 2
In the second part of the Japanese table you can directly find out the sex of the unborn child. It consists of 12 vertical columns, separated in the center by two more columns “Boy” / “Girl”. Each of the cells of these two central columns is filled with a different number of crosses – “X”. The number of crosses opposite “Boy” / “Girl” is different. In the twelve other columns there are code numbers that you specify in Part 1 of the Japanese Table.
After selecting the column with the code number, find the month of conception of the child. Find the required row and compare the number of crosses in the columns “Boy” / “Girl”. The large number of crosses you see – the more chances to have a child of this sex.
For example, if the code number of your couple is 12, then in August you have the highest chances of conceiving a girl and in March – a boy.
If the number of crosses is the same in both cells, the chances of giving birth to a boy or a girl are also the same.
According to statistics, the Japanese table has more supporters. This is due to the fact that it is a bit more complicated, because it takes into account not just the age of the mother and the date of conception of the child, but the months of birth of both parents and the month of conception.

There is also the so-called theory of planning a child, based on the time of renewal of the parents’ blood. What is its essence?
There is a fact that the blood of a man is completely renewed every 4 years, while that of a woman – once every 3 years. So, it is believed that if the mother’s blood is younger, then a girl will be born, and if father’s – a boy.
How to calculate?
We divide the age of the man, the future dad, by 4 and get the approximate date of blood renewal. For example, he is 43, then 42: 4 = 10 and the remainder is 2. His blood is 2 years old. Mom is 33, then 33: 3 = 11. Her blood has only been renewed, and therefore younger. So a couple will have a girl.
Attention! You should take into account such factors: blood transfusion, blood loss during operations, abortions, donationof blood. Then the blood renewal begins to count not from the date of birth of the parent, but from the date of the event when the last time he / she had a blood loss.

4. Planning the sex of the baby by ovulation.
It is believed that one of the most accurate in determining the sex of a baby during planning is the method of ovulation in a woman. This is the most scientifically proven way to find out the sex of a baby.
What is its essence?
Fertilization occurs from spermatozoa carrying male XY chromosomes and an egg cell carrying XX chromosomes. What kind of connection will happen, this gender of the baby will be: X-male and X-female set of chromosomes – we are waiting for a girl, X-female set and Y-male – there will be a boy. It is known that the Y chromosomes are the fastest and most active, but they die quickly. And if they did not immediately meet the egg, then they died. While the X chromosomes still waited for the egg to appear and fertilized it even after 24 hours. Ovulation normally happens every 25 days. There are some of its signs: pain in the lower abdomen, pulling in the chest, mood swings, increased basal temperature. After ovulation has occurred, all the following days before menstruation it is possible to become pregnant with a boy.
